Seattle

So I finally moved out of Provo, can you believe it? I feel like I lived in Provo forever and I've actually felt a little homesick since I left, weird... Anyway, I'm very excited to be in Seattle. I love it up here and I get to be close to my family (very close right now since I'm temporarily living with them). I haven't quite nailed down a job or an apartment yet but I'm working on it. I decided to post a few pictures to try and entice some of you to come and visit. There are lots and lots of fun things to do up here including a visit to Forks for all those Twilight fans out there. No one has posted on here for awhile and I know you are all living very exciting lives so please update us all :) Also thank you, thank you, thank you to all of you who wrote such nice things in the book Lauren put together for me. I feel so lucky to have so many incredibly wonderful friends in my life.

Pearls of wisdom from FHE

Last night, Mark and I invited our friend Les over for FHE. He's an older single guy from our ward. At one point during dessert, Les looked up at the ceiling and quizically asked, "What would life be like without High School Musical?"
He then looked at me, eyes wide, and in all seriousness (as though testifying) said,
"Without High School Musical, our lives would SUCK.
Then he went back to eating.
Be grateful you have High School Musical, guys.

Linda Loves Lateness

Well, Linda's big day has come and gone, but I thought I'd post some favorite Linda memories that are relevant to those affiliated with this here blog.

Remember when...
- We would sit around for hours telling Linda to sing various Christmas carols and then laugh in her face when the words were way off. She never was much for lyric accuracy. "Drinking smile after smile."
- Pat walked in on her changing and thought that she was dancing in her room, but she was actually just pulling her jeans up.
-She would scare easily and yell loud enough for the whole complex to hear.
-She introduced us to the game "True Colors"
-She had multiple personalities depending on her hair color/style (i.e., Tina- bangs, Anja Povamitsky-dark brunette)
-Brandon S. told her that when he first met her, he didn't like her, but now he did.
-She won every costume contest...it wasn't an option for her to be second best. She never liked subtlty when it came to dressing up.
-She hosted great impromtu dance parties.

Linderson, you're the best. We're all your greatest fans. Hope your birthday was truly a delight.

10 Things I Hate About You

Ok, not really.

First off, Happy Birthday again! to Miss Linda. Hope your day is fabulous!
---

I was talking to Sir Patrick Annison yesterday. I asked him why he hasn't joined the blog. His response - "I don't have anything to blog about." First, Patrick, I would like to direct you to my personal blog, which is full of complete crap. You're talking to the wrong person. Therefore, I will now share with Patrick 10 exciting things he could blog about.

(In no particular order)

  1. Movie Critiques - I KNOW you're about to go see Batman. Let us know what you think!

  2. A picture of you with your iPhone. Rub it in all of our faces. Please.

  3. Pictures from the next time you run into the High School Musical crew in Maui.

  4. A memoir of the faaaabulous time you're going to have with the Bowl-of-Cereals, tentatively scheduled in two weeks.

  5. Marriott trivia?

  6. A post every day with every single thing you did: when you slept, what you ate, etc.

  7. A travelogue of one of your trips to go see American Idol or SYTYCD and pictures with you and the celebs.

  8. 10 things you love about Lisa Carlson Bellisario.

  9. Pictures of us going to eat at Denis Leary's food shack, the Sentinel, in downton SF. He actually stands behind the counter and cooks for you, supposedly. (Whisper: we should do that!)

  10. A photo journal of you slipping into people's hotel rooms in the middle of the night and taking pictures with them while asleep in their beds. Hee hee.

See! Plenty of stuff to blog about!! If we still had the typewriter, I'd suggest you do something with that, but... Say, whatever happened to that typewriter?...

Happy Birthday Linda Jane

I would just like to wish Linda Jane Kyle a very happy birthday. I hope it is wonderful! Wait, do they celebrate birthdays in Canada? I can't remember... J/K Linda, I hope you post about everything you did for your birthday, love you!

All the way from Canadia...

Yay Robyn! I'm stoked about this! GENIUS idea I tell ya.

So, to add-on to everyone else's... here are 3 Reasons why you should be jealous of the life of Dr. Linda Jane Kyle III.

1. I got to hang-out with Jordan Karren in Canada on Canada Day! Yeah!
2. It's my birthday week
3. I just beat my roommate in a splits competition... anyone wanna challenge me? I dare you to try.
